What better way to start my first blog than to
write a review of my very favorite movie of all time: Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope?
This movie is filled with rousing action, and incredible spectacle! Have you ever thought to yourself, “I wonder if there is other civilizations out there?” Well, according to this movie…There is!
This dramatic story is about a boy named Luke Skywalker who lives in the dessert. When his parents house burns to the ground, he must set off to space with a wise old man named Obi-wan Kenobi. It is very sad when his parents house burns to the ground!
Along the way they meet a beautiful princess called Princess Leia. They also meet two very mischievous robots called R2-D2 and C3po! Along the way they meet the pilot of a ship called Hans Solo. Hans Solo has a very hairy
friend called Chewbacca. I’m not going to give anything away, but he is very hairy!
Leia is a beautiful princess who is fighting the evil galactic empire run by the ever terrifying: Darth Vader. Darth Vader dresses all in black and breathes through a microphone that makes his breathing so scary! Hide the kids! Darth Vader is scary! That’s why this movie is rated PG. Some elements in might not be suitable for all audiences!
Using their light sabers, Darth Vader and Obi-wan Kenobi fight. Then Darth Vader strikes down Obi-wan Kenobi. It is very tragic when this happens. But Obi-wan Kenobi just disappears, leaving only his clothes behind! He reappears in Luke’s head, and he talks to him through the rest of the movie.
In the rousing final scene, Luke Skywalker shoots a photon torpedo into the Death Star, sending Darth Vader spinning through space! I won’t tell you if that’s the end of him, but I think maybe you should see the next movie, the sequel! Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strike Back.
I really loved this movie. I give it two thumbs way up.
This movie has everything: Action, adventure, romance, suspense: This movie has everything. The story is highly dramatic, and the acting is top-notch. I particularly liked the way romance between Luke and Leia seemed to blossom. And those robots were very funny!
If you have not seen it, I highly recommend you go out and rent it today!
